What Royar Read: February

note: I just realized that I've basically read all trashy chick lit books this month. This month has not been fun. Bear with me.

The Fault In Our Stars - Heartbreakingly fantastic. I love John Green, and he did not disappoint with this book.

I Love A Man In Uniform - Fantastic book, although I thought the ending was quite abrupt.

Catching Jordan - Semi-unrealistic plot line and it just turned out oddly, although most of it was predictable.

Smashed - One of the most depressing books I've ever read. It took a lot to push through the middle of the book and the ending wasn't memorable.

The Summer of Skinny Dipping - Might be one of the worst books I've ever read. So predictable it hurt.

Secret Society Girl - Hard to follow at times and the story blended together a lot, but it was still good.

One Fifth Avenue - This is for the Cover To Cover Book Club! I read it last summer, but I thought it was great! A little slow at the start, but the ending was fantastic.

What have you read lately?

xoxo,

  1. I definitely read all chick lit- I'm not ashamed! I'm going to look into a few of these so thank you for posting. Sometimes you just need a good chick lit book to balance out the insane amount of school reading that needs to be done!

  3. I just finished The Bag Lady Papers, I thought it was a great read and it really put things into perspective. I'm going to have to pick up a few of these trashy chick lit books for break, they're my downfall, I just can't get enough!
