Twas the night before the Euro exam...

A short poem a friend and I made up last night while in preparation for today's exam...

Twas the night before the MEH exam, and all though the house,
not a humanist was studying, except for TMS.
The binders were packed by the door with care,
In hopes that an A would soon be placed there.

The humanists were nestled all snug on their couches,
While visions of COD and Break danced in their heads,
And Mr. Teacher in his clogs,
Had just settled down for a long winter's nap.

When out of the classroom there arose such a clatter,
We sprang from our desks to see what was the matter.

With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
We knew in a moment it must be Lorenzo di Medici.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!

"Now Julius II! now, Henry! now, James and Mary!
On, Machiavelli! On, Savonarola! on, Luther and Calvin!
Go Magellan! Go Columbus! go, Joan and Loyola!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!"

Have a great day y'all!
