The End of the Election Season

I'll admit it, I'm a little happy the election season has come to a close. I have lived and breathed politics for the last two months, and while I love speaking about it, I'm done. But I know in a few weeks, there will be something new for me to debate about, and the cycle will go on. I mean, 2016 is only four years away!

With regards to Tuesday night, yes, it was hard, and yes, I did cry during Mitt Romney's concession speech.

He is the epitome of class, and has left the GOP party, for now, very sad, and we will now be lacking in the 'good hair' department for some time.

Wednesday was tough, but it wasn't over when the German's bombed Pearl Harbor, and it sure isn't over now. I still believe in America, and I will always love being an American more than I love being a Republican.

I am working on a new (political themed) project that will hopefully debut in the next few weeks, and I can't wait to share it with y'all!

xoxo,

  1. I completely agree with you. Mittens is such a strong leader and what have been just what this country needed. I hate that he's left the GOP.

  2. I know what you mean; I love politics, but I was getting really tired of hearing about it! Disappointed, but hopefully we'll see some great new people in 2016!
