With today being my last International Relations test (tear, tear) ever, I thought I would share with y'all my ways that I keep up with my news!
During the day, I have Google Alerts for Pakistan, my country for IR, delivered to my inbox, and while I was doing speech research, one for No Easy Day and Navy SEALs.
I also have the The Skimm delivered to me every morning, which is the coolest thing ever. It's how I imagine I would write editorials about the news: in a sassy, fresh way.
Whenever I get a minute, I also like to watch the BBC World News In A Minute. I really like the accents.
How do you get your news?

I love this! I am a total political junkie. I did Model United Nations for two years and haven't been able to leave politics alone since.
ReplyDeleteI usually turn to BBC. I feel like they have a lot more "real" news (i.e. stuff I want to read about). I also like their focus on international news. I think it is really fun to read their articles about America, since I don't get much American news over here in Korea. I do enjoy CNN sometimes, but I prefer BBC.

Do you think that CNN is too anti-gop? or that fox-news is almost too conservative?
ReplyDeleteHi, Nice post thanks for sharing. Would you please consider adding a link to my website on your page. Please email me back.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
