Let me be honest, I am not that impressed with Lilly's spring line. Their dresses are cute, but not "$178 for a cotton shift" cute. I also feel that their prints have become less distinguishable in a crowd. Don't get me wrong, I still love Lilly Pulitzer dearly, but I feel that the brand as a whole has diminished over the past year.
I love the print, the dress in general...but what is UP with the neckline?

I feel the same way! I was so excited to see the new Spring line roll out and I was disappointed when I finally got to see all the merchandise. It wasn't bad, it was just kind of "meh". And Lilly dresses aren't supposed to be "meh" dresses. Let's hope the summer line is better!

ReplyDeleteI might be the only one, but I don't like Lilly just because it's "Lilly". I only like the stuff with pretty colors or nautical patterns, but I'd wear that no matter what brand it is. So yes, I agree with you :-)
