I'm So Much Cooler Online

After I eat dinner, I will get on my computer for the first time all day. Here are the websites I check:

1. CNN/Wall Street Journal  - CNN and the Wall Street Journal are my home tabs and I love catching up on news first!

2. Facebook - Kind of self-explanatory, but...
last night, I closed my Facebook. My best friend, vBh, has midterms and I have two major assignments due next week. So last night we swapped our passwords and changed them for each other.  It feels so great! I might even consider deactivating mine for awhile now. Immediately after we switched I just felt this whole weight lifted off of my shoulders. (Sounds weird, but don’t knock it ‘til you’ve tried it.) I think the best part about this is that I don’t even know my password until next week, so there is no temptation!

3. Gmail - I get my email on my Blackberry during the day, so it's much nicer to come home to one or two emails than the ten or so I get every day.

4. Google Reader - The star feature is the best (and worst, because I have 200+ items starred) part of google reader and since I have all of my tumblr feeds in it, I can read both my tumblr and my blogger posts in one place!

5. School email - Always have to stay on top of meetings and assignments!
What are your daily reads?

  1. That is such a good idea to swap passwords with a friend! Whoa, I may not know how to function though without FB!

  6. I highly recommend swapping passwords! Even though I am "Facebook-less" until Wednesday, I still havent started studying for my midterm tomorrow! I guess procrastination and being preppy go hand in hand.
