All That I'm After Is A Life Full Of Laughter

It has been the craziest week thus far and I didn't schedule any posts until tomorrow and my computer decided to start acting up, so I will try to get back on track for this weekend!

My first marking period ended last week and I am sort-of proud to report that I ended up with two A's and four B's.  My school has a very intense grading scale, so I am quite happy.

Monday was a year since I gave my 9th grade speech.  I really can't believe how fast time goes.  It seems like just yesterday I was getting my name called to present my speech to the entire middle school on Single-Sex Education.  It seemed like a daunting task at first, but I was really pleased with how it turned out.

It's hard to believe I only have three and a half weeks of cross-country season left, it seems like the season just started.  I've been feeling very stressed lately about school and four applications I've been filling out, Mission Training for Operation Smile, CIT at camp this summer, and two school applications, which I hope I will be able to talk about more soon!

On another note, a Very Happy Birthday to my best friend AHD, I don't know what I would do without you!

Here we are before our Homecoming dance last weekend. I didn't ask anyone, but I still had a lot of fun anyways! One bad thing, however, was the music! I don't really like to dance to rap/hip-hop, as I prefer oldies music. Much to the dismay of my friends, I did have to request "Shout" by the Isley Brothers and I shagged to it with a good friend of mine and we definitely showed everyone how to dance!

Happy Wednesday Y'all!

xoxo,
