Vent!

This week has been really stressful, therefore, this will be a vent post. Sorry, but it is much needed. Anyways, so at the end of the school year, we have our "prom", aka formal. So with it being only two months away, people have begun to start asking people. My best guy friend (who has no clue that I like him more than a friend) likes another girl, who he is planning to ask soon. Of course, I heard this the roundabout way, instead of just from him.

And of course, he was the only person I wanted to go with, because I want to go with someone I actually know and not with someone whom I barely talk to.  Plus my whole grade thinks that they're dating, so whenever we talk, they see it as "cheating". Oh, yes. So much fun. Anyway, that is one part of my stress.  Part two of my stress, I am the only single person in my close group of friends, making me the eternal third wheel. And they don't have to worry about formal dates, so they are being a little un-sympathetic. So that is my life right now.  But tomorrow is the beginning of my long weekend for Easter. Tan? I think yes.

xoxo,

Royar

P.S. Thanks for putting up with me!

  2. I just remembered a story:

I had a REALLY good boy (BIG SPACE, sadly) friend. We spent so much time together. One day, all of our friends were on this church trip that we didn't go on. We started hanging out at like 8 am. It was such a relaxed day. We ran errands, went grocery shopping for both our moms (I had just gotten my license so driving was still new), and lunching at the yacht club.

He even babysitted my next door neighbors with me. We walked back to my house and started watching a movie. Halfway through, he told me he had to ask me a really important question.

I totally thought he was going to ask me to the homecoming dance!!!! But then he asked me if I thought it was a good idea for him to ask my best friend. I had to hold back my tears while I said yes. Then I helped him plan out the whole asking-her-out deal. Ugh.

Anyways... Don't worry! You're not alone!!! :-) xoxo

  3. Hun, story of my life.
Our prom is coming up and while none of my friends are really dating people, my school is small enough, I already know whose going to ask who to prom.. And it's not so much that taking a date matters to me (we all dance with everyone anyways, not dates), it's the taking-photos-awkwardness. Ugh.
I've managed to scramble together dates the past few years (last years was such an adventure - THREE different dates bailed), but I am stressssin' this year.
