Snowball Throwing, That's What I'll Do

We interrupt your regularly scheduled blog posts to bring you...

Eleven (yes, eleven) inches of snow! Tiller, PB and I had so much fun yesterday playing in the snow! Is it snowing where you are?

I'm Looking At A White Christmas

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, filled with friends and family! I had a wonderful day with the fam and I received many wonderful gifts and many Alabama gifts.  Yesterday also proved that PB and I know each other too well.  We both got each other Dixieland Delight: A Football Season on the Road in the SEC!

Last night, we even got snow! I was a little bummed that some of my friends in North Carolina got a White Christmas, but it started snowing about eight and it stuck! Tomorrow I'll post some of our traditional Christmas recipes!

How were y'alls Christmases? Did everyone get what they wanted?

Let It Snow

Remember all the way back in September when we were hit by Hurricane Earl?
And nothing happened?
(Just say yes.)

This morning I was woken up at 5:41 am by PM to tell me that I had no school today due to this:
Note: Apparently this picture updates itself...the entire right part of the picture used to be white...
I am enjoying my day, however, but this does mean that I may or may not have school tomorrow. Which means I may or may not have to take my Algebra 2 and Chem exam until January.

This is too weird. Is it snowing where you are?

Snow, Snow, Snow!

Ok. I admit it. The Weather Channel was right.  As of right now, there are about six inches of snow on the ground and it is continuing to fall.  I went out this morning minus Ducks with Tiller and Tess, trying to spark some excitement from them.  Tess was un-enthused and promptly ran back inside, but Tiller and I ran around, making snow angels and throwing snow balls (well, I was throwing them, Tiller was eating them).  After our rambunctious snow play this morning, we came back inside to PM making us Biscuits and Gravy. Yummmm......

Let it snow?

Howdy!

Well, the hatches have been 'battened down' here in Virginia. The markets were teeming with activity, news crews we're 'on location' and I saw a senile man loading not one, but four cases of water into his car.  What for? The expected NINE INCHES of snow that has been predicted for this weekend. Today at PHS, not one, but two announcements we're made about how the school was going to be officially closed for the weekend.  One good part? Three-day weekend (or more). The bad part? My LL Bean Duck Boots are still in the LL Bean factory.  They were an expected 'Christmas Present' that never arrived. Sad. I suppose that my Uggs, once suitable for sixth grade, now retired to grocery store runs, cold rainy days and post-lacrosse practice shoes, are now my new 'snow boots'. On a warmer note, I saw "When in Rome" tonight with PM.  It was a charming, hysterically funny movie.   I thought it was going to be cheesy, but Kristen Bell and Josh Duhamel had fantastic chemistry and I give it an A+.  Well, stay warm this weekend and make sure your Ducks are dusted!
