Valentine's Day, Party of One

Happy Tuesday y'all!

I don't honestly see the importance in getting worked up over a day that really shouldn't be different than any other day.  It's great if you have a significant other, or if you're doing something special for today. Today is just not for me, but I'm not going to sit around and be bitter about it. Teddi at The Jewish Girl In Wasp's Clothing had an awesome post about this, and I couldn't agree with it more.

Today, I'm celebrating all the love I have in my life.

I have an amazing family, wonderful friends and more blessings than I could ever count. So what if I'm as single as a dollar bill? To me that doesn't define who I am, and really only makes up a small piece of the the puzzle of my life. Tomorrow morning I'll wake up, still be the same person I was, and go on with my life, just as I did the day before.

As I told my friend jokingly today, I'm going to be my own Valentine.

I know what she likes and what she doesn't like, and I hear she has fantastic taste in clothing.

xoxo,
