5 Things I Can't Live Without

Thanks so much to Holly at Holly's Wonderland for tagging me in this!! Her blog is super cute - go check her out!

1. Blackberry
It keeps me in touch with my friends and family, near and far.  BBM is a nice touch as well!

2. Lilly Planner
This is probably my most important item next to my Blackberry.  It keeps me organized between sports, classes, clubs, appointments and of course, my blog!

3. Nalgene/Tervis Tumblr

When I'm at school, I always have my Purple Nalgene (affectionately nicknamed Tommy) with me and when I'm at home, I always have my monogrammed Tervis Tumbler.  I make a conscientious effort to drink eight glasses of water every day.

4. Wallet
It holds my credit card, my permit, my money etc etc. I wouldn't be able to get anywhere without this!

5. Family
Couldn't do anything without them!

Now I tag:

What a fun post!

Top 10 In My Closet

Katie at Let's Be Preppy did a post last week about the top 10 things in her closet. It's such a cute idea and I thought I would give it a try!

1. Taylor Dresses Jacquard Shift
I have this in pink! it's a great shift, the embroidery is fabulous and the texture is unique. I wore it to Homecoming!

2. Dan Post Cowboy Boots
I wear these at least once a week if not more. They really go with everything and I love them dearly.

3. Lands End Canvas Skirt
I just wore this for the first time on Friday and I love it already! It's such a light weight and will be worn many times this spring and summer

4. J. Crew 5" Chinos
What can I say? They go with EVERYTHING. T-shirt, oxford, patagonia, polos...

5. Clark Wallabees
My friends think they're ugly Grandma shoes, but I think they're the most comfortable shoe ever invented. They look oh-so-cute with jeans, cords and skirt too!

6. Ralph Lauren Slim-Fit Oxford
I have four of these and they are just fabulous! I wear them every season!

7. J. Crew Wool Skirt
This skirt is so versatile and perfect for the winter and fall. It can be worn tucked-in with an oxford or with a cable sweater!

8. Lilly Pulitzer Bel Air Dress
The embroidery on this dress is so adorable and the cut is so flattering. The bows at the bottom add the perfect touch!

9. Platinum Jack Rogers
They go with everything, they're super cute and they show off a tan really well. What's not to love?

10. Juicy Couture Jersey Dress
I got it a few years ago and of course can't find a picture online, but it's the perfect hue of brown and has a very cute neckline with ruffles. It's perfect with a scarf or sweater!

What are your 10 favorite things in your closet?

Bamboopink

Last week, I received an email from a reader, telling me about Bamboopink

It is expected to be the fastest growing women’s internet start-up company in history. A fashionable, yet affordable jewelry line made and designed by JudeFrances, a famous, high-end designer whose current line is sold in upscale department stores, is all over the red carpet and worn by Oprah! Check them out at JudeFrances.com.

This company is the first of its kind, an internet launched company with virtual trunk shows…there are no parties to host and no phone calls to make.
Sign-ups are free, with no risks or obligations. The free signing period is only for 30 days (through March 15), after that you will have to pay to be a consultant.
What sets this company apart from other direct sales companies:
- GROUND FLOOR opportunity (probably won’t ever happen to you again!)
- Strongest comp plan in the industry
 - Very successful “designer” multi-million dollar jeweler making/backing this jewelry, so sure to be successful
Instead of growing one sales rep at a time, this business model using the free sign-up period we can grow hundreds of sales reps at a time – but the time to do that is NOW!
This company is going to explode in a few weeks with a national press release and official launch. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. So be one of the first to sign up!
Then you can do the same as me and get credit for signing up your friends, which is what we are compensated for with jewelry and other prizes.  It is not about selling the jewelry at this point, but networking and creating interest. If you decide not to sell, you have lost nothing and your name is dropped from the list.
This business will be on fire and their pieces look gorgeous!!!! To sign up, go HERE and check it out!

Single's Awareness Day

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

The day is named after one or more early Christian martyrsSaint Valentine, and was established by Pope Gelasius I in 496 AD. It was deleted from the Roman calendar of saints in 1969 by Pope Paul VI, but its religious observance is still permitted. It is traditionally a day on which lovers express their love for each other by presenting flowers, offeringconfectionery, and sending greeting cards (known as "valentines"). The day first became associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished.
Modern Valentine's Day symbols include the heart-shaped outline, doves, and the figure of the winged Cupid. Since the 19th century, handwritten valentines have given way to mass-produced greeting cards. (via)

I have no Valentine today, but I hope y'all have a fabulous day!

Skincare Routine

I’ve gotten some emails about my skincare routine and thought I would share it with y’all!
In the mornings, I use Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash to clean my skin before I put on make up and to remove any oil.

I then put on Clinique Clearing Moisturizer in the winter if my skin is super dry. I love this stuff! It works so well and doesn’t have any scent.

I then use Sephora Correcting Primer, which takes the redness out of my face and cleans off any excess oil or lotion.

For foundation, I use Clinique Powder with SPF 15.
I don’t really use a lot of eye makeup, but I always put mascara on and I use Great Lash.

At night, I use the Neutrogena Wave to take off my makeup. This is a great alternative to the Olay and Clarisonic lines. I will probably upgrade to the Clairsonic in a few months.
I then wash my face again with the Oil-Free Skin Wash and use a generic Olay Toner.

I then use a dermatologist-prescribed spot treatment.
If there are any blemishes, I use the Clinique Concealing Stick to cover them up.

What's your skincare routine?
